Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Verify insurance coverage and benefits for dental clinic patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
2. Communicate with insurance companies to obtain detailed information on coverage limits, deductibles, co-pays, and other relevant insurance details
3. Determine patient benefits and communicate this information to dental clinics, ensuring proper understanding and documentation
4. Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to coverage and benefits
5. Update patient records and electronic systems with verified insurance information
6. Assist dental clinics in understanding insurance policies and procedures, providing guidance and support when necessary
7. Collaborate with dental clinic staff to ensure accurate billing and claims processing
8. Stay updated on changes in insurance regulations and policies, adapting to new requirements and communicating them effectively
9. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and dental clinic staff, addressing inquiries and concerns related to insurance coverage and benefits
10. Collaborate with the Patient Coordinators to ensure a seamless patient experience in terms of insurance-related processes
