Viterbi School of Engineering invites applications from interested and qualified students (graduate and undergraduate) to spend the summer working with ongoing research projects at USC/ISI on natural language processing, machine learning, statistical modeling, machine translation, automata, and other areas
A unit of the University of Southern California’s highly ranked Viterbi School of Engineering, ISI is one of the nation’s largest, most successful university-affiliated computer research institutes. The Institute bridges the gap between theoretical basic research and product-oriented research and development.
Good programming skills are required, but prior experience in natural language processing is not necessarily required. Required tutorials on relevant topics will be provided at the beginning of the summer.
Students must have registered at their undergraduate/graduate program of a recognized university.
