We are looking for a system administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Installing and configuring software, hardware and networks
2. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting system issues
3. Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
4. Managing network, Windows, Linux servers and technology tools
5. Setting up accounts and workstations
6. Monitoring performance and maintain systems according to requirements
7. Ensuring security through access controls, backups and firewalls
8. Upgrading systems with new releases and models
Requirements:
1. Understanding of the following IT technologies
2. Basics of networking
3. Basics of windows operating systems
4. Basics of Linux operating systems
5. Basics of hardware troubleshooting
6. Basics of Shell Scripting or PowerShell
7. Basics of virtualization
8. Basic of Windows Server Management
9. Understanding of Local Active Directory System
10. Creating and managing Virtual Machines in Azure
11. Knowledge of scripting (shell, bash, PowerShell).
12. Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms including but not limited to Windows and Linux
13. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
14. Good communication skills
15. Knowledge of firewalls like pfSense is a plus
