Who Can Apply?

• Degree: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
• Graduation Year: You must graduate in 2028, meaning you will be in your pre-final year when applications open in July 2026. 
• Academic Performance: Goldman Sachs does not specify a minimum GPA or backlog criteria. However, candidates are expected to maintain a strong and consistent academic record.

Selection Process

The hiring process of the Goldman Sachs Summer Analyst Program may vary by division. However, it usually includes:

• Online Application Screening: Reviews your resume, academic record, achievements, and any internships and leadership roles you have held before.
• Online Assessment: The online assessment includes aptitude, logical and quantitative reasoning, situational judgment, and coding (for tech roles). 
• HireVue/Video Interview: Shortlisted candidates are invited to complete a video interview on HireVue, which includes 3–6 questions. For Summer Analyst applicants, questions are mostly behavioral, covering topics such as teamwork, motivation, and relevant experience. 
• Superday (Final Round Interviews): Candidates who clear the HireVue interview are invited for a series of final-round interviews. The number of interviews usually ranges from two to five, depending on the division. These interviews may cover:
  • Job-specific knowledge. For example, finance roles may include questions on finance concepts, markets, and accounting. Engineering roles may include coding, data structures, and system design basics.
  • Resume-based and work experience questions
  • Behavioral and cultural fit questions.
• Offer Rollout: Goldman Sachs will email offer letters to selected candidates. Candidates can track their application status on the portal.
