\"MyWhen you start moving up the “Engineering Ladder\u201d, you begin to realize that skills matter. And, what can be a better way to learn skills than doing an internship or working on a project!<\/p>\n

After creating an account on Internshala, I received an email notifying about their summer training program. At first, when I saw it, I wasn\u2019t sure if I would ever enroll for any of their courses, and why would I? After all, a popular search engine is my best friend (read learn for free<\/em>). Then, all of a sudden, I came across the reviews of the students who had taken the Internet of Things<\/em> course previously and was quite intrigued by their experiences, as well as, the course itself. I did some research online (awesome with Google you see<\/em>) hoping that I could learn it by myself. But with all my Google-bility<\/em>, I could only understand the definition of the \u201cInternet of Things\u201d and nothing concrete. So, finally (and fortunately), I applied for the Internet of Things course on Internshala Virtual Training Center.<\/p>\n

Being a student of Electronics Engineering, I was really distressed by seeing the fraction of computer science material in the modules. I wondered how I would be able to complete this training in 4 weeks. But, when I started, I didn\u2019t face any difficulty in understanding the topics and my learning went effortlessly. As the course is for beginners, all the concepts are taught from scratch and one doesn\u2019t require any prerequisite knowledge. The slides which are made available during the course are well-organized, illustrious and easy to understand. A kit is also provided to carry out the practical implementations of the topics taught.<\/p>\n

Apart from the course structure, one thing that stands out is their support. They are always there to guide you no matter what the issue is. After enrolling for the course, I received the kit from \u201cInventrom\u201d about 5 days before the course was about to start. There were proper instructions in the slides for installing the necessary software to run the hardware provided. Though I ran into some trouble while installing the software, the quick responses to my e-mails \/ phone calls by Inventrom and Internshala made everything quite easy. Also, the kit that I got had a defective component but thanks to Internshala\u2019s support as they reshipped a new one as soon as I informed them (of course, without any replacement charges!). Wait! Did I tell you about Inventrom\u2019s WhatsApp group for solving doubts? CALL-MAIL-WHATSAPP-LIVECHAT-FORUM enough said.<\/p>\n

The course is divided into four modules and at the end of these modules, you are given a short quiz (module test) to test whatever you have learned in the module. These short quizzes are really helpful as they boost your confidence and motivate you to continue the course enthusiastically. You are given the solutions immediately along with your marks and average marks for the test.<\/p>\n

Finally, the courses offered by Internshala Trainings are very basic and easy to understand yet very effective in building a strong foundation. After completing the course, one can apply those skills to build some really fascinating projects. The presence of expertly designed courses and a great doubt solving support from Internshala makes for a perfect combo for online learning.<\/p>\n
