\"HowThere are well-established people in different fields, who have led to remarkable breakthroughs in their respective fields of study, and then there is me. I couldn\u2019t have started on a bitterer note describing myself, but we all have our personal traits, don\u2019t we? I am a freelance writer, an electronics enthusiast, a \u2018trying to be\u2019 web developer, and also a bass guitarist. No, I am not the best-selling novelist in the country or the guy who wins every technical fest he goes to or the one who designs the best websites or is the musical sensation of his college. The people who achieve any one of these recognitions are geniuses in their own fields, which all of us cannot be. Or can we?<\/p>\n

Keeping in mind my myriad interests, I knew I needed something which could bring out the best in me and for that I required knowledge about the subjects of my interest. It was on one such day that I landed on the Internshala website after the successful completion of my Facebook surfing, which is otherwise, the daily bread and butter of every college student. \u2018Internship?\u2019 my dad had asked over the phone when I called him that day to which I had replied in an excited tone, \u2018No! It\u2019s Internshala\u2019. It was on that very day that I enrolled for my first Internshala training, VLSI Design using VHDL. The decision, of course, was not an easy one to make especially when you have so many interests but being an Electronics engineer I knew I had a point to make in the path I had chosen.<\/p>\n

The course was a brand new concept to me because I was only in my second year of engineering, but Internshala had designed it in a very lucid and concise manner which could be understood even by a high school student. Frankly, I had a few issues with the chat support but the Internshala team was quick to respond every time, providing me with the required information and software. I later learned that the reason for these problems was the fact that the course head was in Chennai which was affected by a devastating flood at the time. Internshala had in a way taught me that disasters come and go but it is the recovery that matters the most. The course had worked wonders on my knowledge which I eventually found out in my practical classes but what was even more remarkable about the course was the compactness. I will go through the notes of the course before going for my digital circuit\u2019s exam and in future as well.<\/p>\n

A month later, I got a chance to participate in the Internshala’s online Web Development workshop<\/a>. It didn\u2019t take me a second thought to enroll for this since Web Development was also on my interest list. The online workshop gave me one of the most interesting sessions ever, and I also got to develop a web page with my own hands. At the end of the course was a surprise waiting from the Internshala team; it wasn\u2019t really a message but an advice which will help me throughout my career. The core teaching of the message was that\u00a0it is the learning which matters the most. This idea was presented in a way which I will never forget and want all of you to experience; hence, I will not be describing it. I made a note of it and saved it in my mind for the rest of my life.<\/p>\n

This is what Internshala means to me, and I’m pretty sure that it will be much better in the future as Internshala has always believed in improving. The point which I wanted to make since the start of this story is that we aren\u2019t geniuses but each one of us has the potential to become one. Everyone has their own tastes and ways, but it is how you polish your learning and skills that will really help you make the difference. It is, however, tragic that most of the college students of India are unaware of their real interests and passion. Hence, their talents are mostly lost in the fight with CGPA and attendance. Don\u2019t let that happen to you. Dream! Take a pen and paper and note down what your interests are, and Internshala will help you achieve them as far as possible. Moreover, if your list is never-ending like mine, don\u2019t panic. Start off today because it\u2019s never too late to begin!<\/p>\n
