\"PRL<\/a> An excellent summer internship opportunities for post-graduate<\/strong> students interested in conducting research in areas of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Solar Physics, Earth, Planetary & Atmospheric Sciences and Theoretical Physics. Physical Research Laboratory has rich lineage of well renowned scientists (starting with founder Dr. Vikram Sarabhai) and is known for the great research environment it provides to its scholars. The last date to apply is March 15th, 2013<\/strong> – hurry!<\/p>\n

Who can apply: –\u00a0<\/strong>Pre-final year M.Sc. \/ M.Sc. (Integrated) \/ M.Sc. (Tech.) students of Physics, Space Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences, Chemistry (Physical \/ Nuclear \/ Analytical), Geology, Geophysics, Ocean Sciences and Climate Sciences. The candidate must have taken Physics and Mathematics at the Under Graduate level. And a minimum of 60% marks at Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s level are required for all candidates. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Location: – <\/strong>Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad<\/p>\n

Duration: –\u00a0<\/strong>8 weeks during May 15 – July 12, 2013.<\/p>\n

Stipend:\u00a0 – <\/strong>5500\/- per month on pro rata (minimum six weeks duration), return II- class sleeper train fare by the shortest route and hostel accommodation with canteen facilities on a nominal charge. If you are currently a teacher applying for this program then the stipend would be Rs. 9,000\/- per month.<\/p>\n
