About the internship: – <\/strong>There are five projects in which a selected intern can choose to work : –
\n1. Quality \u2013 2 months<\/strong>
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Method Statements Documentation and Consolidation
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Standards applicable to construction
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Documentation of Measurement procedures
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Processes of involvement of QC\/QA during construction progress
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Will work hand to hand with GEM Engineering Services<\/p>\n

2. Estimation & Costing Engineering \u2013 4 months\u00a0<\/strong>
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Analyse the correlation of different factors: viz Site form factor, SBC, Bylaws, to the project cost.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Establish a parametric based costing methodology
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Analyse the sensitivity of a project cost to different factors
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Determine break-even point<\/p>\n

5. BIM \u2013 2-3 months<\/strong><\/p>\n

. Develop methodologies for 4D or 5D BIM
\n. Use BIM to develop modularity and reusability in the design and documentation process
\n. Analyse the impact and capabilities of BIM in infrastructure engineering
\n. Applications of BIM on parametric master planning and design<\/p>\n

lected interns would make a mid-way presentation and submit a final report on the project and findings.<\/p>\n

Who can apply: – <\/strong>3rd and 4th year B.Tech \/ Dual Degree Civil Engineering\/ Construction Management students. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Location: – <\/strong>Bangalore, India<\/p>\n

Duration: – <\/strong>2-3 months (depending on the chosen project)<\/p>\n

Start month: – <\/strong>April 2012 (negotiable as per academic calendar)<\/p>\n

Stipend: – <\/strong>INR 12,500\/- per month +\u00a0 Successful intern will be considered for absorption into strategic roles of the company after completion of the internship.<\/p>\n
