Behold, an amazing opportunity for you work on a challenging project at world class\u00a0laboratories\u00a0at IIT Bombay, as part of a summer internship. <em>You can fly if you believe you can!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Last date to apply is <strong>5th April<\/strong> &#8211; hurry up!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>About CASDE: &#8211; <\/strong>The\u00a0<em>Centre for Aerospace Systems Design and Engineering<\/em>\u00a0(CASDE) was set up at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Bombay in July 1998 on the invitation of the Aeronautics Research and Development Board (ARDB), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The Centre is funded through a grant-in-aid project by the ARDB.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The main objectives of the CASDE include <strong>post graduate level academics<\/strong>, Integrated Modeling and Simulation (<strong>IMSL<\/strong>) , System level design and Integration Studies and Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (<strong>MDO<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>About the internship: &#8211; <\/strong>The summer internship is an 8 week internship program where students will get to work on a challenging research problem related to Aerospace engineering. With supervision and\u00a0mentor-ship\u00a0from some of the best minds in the country, you will work in world class\u00a0laboratories\u00a0at CASDE, IIT Bombay.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Who can apply: &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Third year UG students from any engineering discipline (Kindly ensure you will complete your 3rd year of your UG degree programme by May 2012).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Location : &#8211; <\/strong>ARDB Centre for Aerospace Systems Design and Engineering, IIT Bombay, Mumbai.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Duration: &#8211; <\/strong>The internship will be for 8 weeks in summer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Stipend: &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>As an intern you will receive a stipend of Rs 5000 per month.<\/li>\n<li>You can also claim Third Class AC (3AC) train fare from\/to your home town. So retain your tickets.<\/li>\n<li>CASDE will help you book a hostel room within the IIT Bombay Campus during your internship but PLEASE NOTE that interns will have to pay for the room rent and boarding charges.
