The last date to apply is <strong>12th May 2012<\/strong> &#8211; hurry!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>About the internship: &#8211;<\/strong> The NITK &#8211; Summer Internship Programme (NITK-SIP) is designed to enhance awareness and interest in high quality academic research among young Engineering, Management, Sciences and Humanities students through a goal oriented summer mini-project undertaken at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. Awardees to work on research projects under the mentorship of faculty during the summer vacation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong># of internships available: &#8211; <\/strong>30<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Who can apply: \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Candidates pursuing third year of B.Tech. programme, first year of MTech, M.Sc., MBA with outstanding academic background in terms of academic performance in university examinations, papers presented at seminars, projects executed, design contests participated, and any other awards\/distinctions obtained, are encouraged to apply.
