Founded by IIT alumni, Internshala aspires to become one stop destination for internships in India. What you would be working on<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Build a world class technology platform that would drive the innovation in the world of internships and lead the cultural change regarding internships in India (if this sounds a mere lofty statement to you, we should definitely talk once)<\/li>\n
  2. Build and lead a team of fellow engineers<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Who are we looking for?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Someone who is a geek at heart – your love for coding should exceed your love (or hatred) for anything else<\/li>\n
    2. Some who works really<\/em> hard – there should be at least one example in your life where you exhausted yourself beyond your known limits and still pushed on.<\/li>\n
    3. Someone who is start up material – you know that for every facebook or Google, there were 1000 other ideas that failed. You know that a start up life is a life full of misery, and yet<\/em> this is the only life you want<\/li>\n
    4. Someone who feels excited by the problem Internshala is solving – to bring a culture of meaningful<\/em> internships in India and make this world a little better place than we found it<\/li>\n
    5. Someone who is professional enough to deliver on commitments and humble enough to know that learning never stops<\/li>\n
    6. Finally someone, who has no qualms about working out of a 6*8 office in Gurgaon (picture here<\/strong><\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      What skills you need to have<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      1. You should know all\/some of these technologies like back of your hand – PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS,\u00a0 JQuery, AJAX<\/li>\n
      2. A prior experience with any of the MVC frameworks (CodeIgniter & Doctrine preferably) will be beneficial<\/li>\n
      3. If you have dabbled into Facebook apps before, or have worked on SEO, or on WordPress – that’s icing on the cake<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The position is available both<\/strong> as a full time job or an internship. BUT<\/strong> for internship only those who can work full time atleast for 6 months will be considered<\/p>\n
