About Internship: – \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>KENWA (http:\/\/www.kenwa.org\/<\/a>)\u00a0 is a non-profit organization that empowers women living with HIV\/AIDS and aims at reducing the stigma that comes with it. An intern will be involved in the development of the work plans for the team and submit weekly report. Intern will also be involved in the capacity building among support groups and guidance & counseling. Intern will also be identifying projects, merge them with donor priorities do per-funding arrangements and make recommendations to the organization and to possible sponsors attend meetings called by the community, other organizations, sponsors and legal authorities as directed by the organization.<\/p>\n

Who can apply: – <\/strong>Any graduate \/ post graduate student in the age group of 18-30 & with good communication skills and adaptability in various cultures can apply for this internship<\/p>\n

Location:- <\/strong>Kenya<\/p>\n

Duration:- <\/strong>1 month<\/p>\n

Start date: – <\/strong>September 2012<\/p>\n

Stipend: – <\/strong>This is an unpaid internship. A certificate of internship from the hosting country, certification from the Home Local Committee and free\/subsidized food and accommodation would be provided to the interns.<\/p>\n

Note: – For availing this opportunity, the candidate needs to sign a contract with AISEC along with Rs. 5000 which is non refundable. Once the candidate is selected an additional amount of Rs. 6000 needs to be paid.<\/p>\n
