About Act to Rise for Innovation in Special Education (A R I S E): –<\/strong> Act to Rise for Innovation in Special Education (A R I S E), founded in January 2010, is a Not-for-Profit Charitable Educational Trust. They develop, promote and disseminate self-learning tools, assertive technologies and educational resources to the differently-abled.<\/p>\n

About the internship: –<\/strong> The students will need to work;<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. As volunteers on the field – managing and executing our partnership program with various NGOs in the Chandigarh region.<\/li>\n
  2. To collect data on asking questions (feedback) from various sources (online) about the usage and awareness of various initiatives about A R I S E<\/li>\n
  3. To analyze feedback as to how to improve the educational resources and their deployment strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Number of internships:\u00a0–<\/strong> 6\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

    Who can apply: <\/strong>– <\/strong>The students should have effective English speaking and writing skills. Students from Social Sciences\/Humanities background with relevant knowledge of report making and collection of statistics will be preferred. Students with prior experience in handling Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations will be an added advantage. <\/strong><\/p>\n

    Location: – <\/strong>Chandigarh\/Work from home<\/p>\n

    Duration: – <\/strong>3 months<\/p>\n

    Start date: – <\/strong>October, 2012<\/p>\n

    Stipend: – <\/strong>This is an unpaid internship.<\/p>\n
