About<\/strong> Transerve Technologies:- <\/strong>Transerve Technologies (www.transervetechnologies.com) is a technology start-up and was founded by a team of IITians to cater to the needs of asset management and Geo-spatial requirements for large infrastructure setups. The organization is engaged in developing map based interactive web & desktop applications.<\/p>\n

About Internship: – <\/strong>1. The first position requires an intern with good command in .NET based web application development. The profile requires the intern to design web based GIS (geographic information systems) applications that deploy interactive web maps for various applications. Further deployment to Windows Azure platform shall be required.<\/p>\n

2. The second position requires the intern to develop web GIS applications on open source platform using Java based MapServer \/ GeoServer engines. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Who can apply: <\/strong>– <\/strong>Students from IITs\/NITs\/IIITs\/BITS with good command in web based programming may apply. Knowledge of cloud-based application development is desired, but is not mandatory.

Duration: –<\/strong> 1 month<\/p>\n

Start date: – <\/strong>October, 2012<\/p>\n

Stipend: – <\/strong>Performance based stipend + certificate and a letter of recommendation will be provided on completion of internship<\/p>\n
