About<\/strong> Rakshak Foundation<\/strong>:<\/strong> –\u00a0Rakshak Foundation (www.rakshakfoundation.org) is a non profit organization, founded by alumni of eminent institute like IITs and IIMs, which is involved in Public Policy Research. It foresees citizen awareness and participation in governance as the solution to most pressing social problems in India like corruption, education, health, accountability, efficiency and transparency etc.<\/p>\n

About Internship: – <\/strong>Rakshak Foundation is looking for student interns to develop state of the art mobile apps to be used by common citizen. The interns will be expected to deliver:-<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Back end to process data sent by mobile app<\/li>\n
  2. Fully developed and working mobile app (Android \/ iOS) integrated with its back end (java\/python)<\/li>\n
  3. Documentation and user manual<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Number of internships:\u00a0–<\/strong> 3<\/p>\n

    Who can apply: <\/strong>– <\/strong>Students with a proficiency in Client-Server Java Programming (back end java\/python, front end mobile app) and experience in end to end mobile application development can apply. Experience in creating iOS\/Android application and strong communication skills (written and oral) are also a must.

    Location: – <\/strong>Work from home\/ <\/strong>New Delhi
    \n<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Duration: – <\/strong>1 month<\/p>\n

    Start date: – <\/strong>December, 2012<\/p>\n

    Stipend: –\u00a0<\/strong>Rs. 5,000\/- <\/strong>per month
    \n<\/strong><\/p>\n
