\"\"The Weizmann Institute of Science’s annual Kupcinet-Getz International Science School accepts each summer a selected number of outstanding undergraduate students to participate in research projects in mathematics, physics, chemistry and life sciences.<\/span><\/span> The last date to apply is 31st January, 2013<\/strong> – hurry!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

About the internship: – <\/strong>The internship is a sort of enrichment program designated for undergraduate students from all over the world, who are majoring in the Sciences, to experience science first hand by becoming part of a research group at the Weizmann Institute. Each student is associated to a laboratory or a theoretical research project under the supervision of an experienced scientist; the students become, for a short time, full-fledged members of the scientific team.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Who can apply: – <\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Applicants must be students enrolled in undergraduate science degree programs (in Physics; Chemistry; Life Sciences; Mathematics; or Computer Science). BSc and BA degree holders are not eligible to apply.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Candidates should give evidence of a serious interest in scientific research (previous experience is an advantage but not a requirement).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Overseas candidates should have a grade point average 3.6\/4.0 or the equivalent in the grades associated with their major subject.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Location<\/strong>: – Israel<\/p>\n

Duration: – <\/strong>2 months (between June 25th -August 20th, 2013)<\/p>\n

Stipend: – <\/strong>NIS 500\/- per week, i.e. NIS 4, 000 in total + free accommodation<\/p>\n
