About<\/strong> InterviewStreet: – <\/strong>Interviewstreet (www.interviewstreet.com) is a platform for programmers to hang out with jaw-dropping hackers, solve challenges and contribute to the community<\/strong>. Interview street wants to to build the most engaged community of problem solvers with an aim to become “the brain of the world”.\u00a0 The team is composed of 6 hackers and some of its customers include – Amazon, Facebook, Zynga, Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora, Box, Evernote, NASA, Microsoft, Apple etc.<\/p>\n

About Internship: – <\/strong>There are a variety of problems an intern will get exposed to and work on. Some of these include –<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Adding a wider variety of programming challenges on InterviewStret like Artificial Intelligence (bot-vs-bot), Machine Learning, Big data challenges, etc. and building the framework to support these challenges (Technologies used: Rails, PHP)<\/li>\n
  2. Infrastructure scaling: auto scaling web servers and code checkers depending on the load. Providing support to new languages in code checkers (Technologies used: C++, Python)<\/li>\n
  3. Implementing the beautiful interface designed by designers. Make the site 10X faster and responsive. (Technologies used: Javascript, coffeescript, backbone.js)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Number of internships:\u00a0–<\/strong> 6\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

    Who can apply: <\/strong>– <\/strong>All smart programmers, hackers or anyone who can learn fast can apply. There is no stream\/degree limitation.
