Now, as we turn two and look to scale new heights, we have the team and energy in place to do it and we are doing it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Yes, starting today we are launching Internshala CampusIntern program in 7 IITs as a pilot and hope to gradually roll it to 150 campuses over next 18 months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You\u2019re our hero if you aspire to be an entrepreneur, a leader, a student with a burning desire to leave a mark on the world. \u00a0CampusIntern is a great opportunity for you to brush-up your managerial and leadership skills before entering the Corporate world. Apply today, and life will never be same again!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>About Internshala:\u00a0 &#8211;<\/b>Internshala is two years old and on its way to solve a problem that is atleast 50 years old \u2013 the problem of <em>meaningful<\/em> internships. Millions of students, just like you, struggle to find an internship every year \u2013 we are changing that. Have we been successful? The specific responsibilities include &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Hosting events in your campus on behalf of Internshala (we would provide logistics support).<\/li>\n<li>Keep fellow campus students informed about the regular updates\/events from Internshala (through FB, by putting up\u00a0 posters at ideal locations like mess notice boards, hostel notice boards, intranet etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Keep Internshala informed about the campus events and festivals and recommend possible associations and manage those associations.<\/li>\n<li>Help Internshala establish a payment partner for Internshala Edge (the exclusive CV review service of Internshala) in his\/her campus.<\/li>\n<li>Assist Internshala in organizing workshshops &amp; seminars in the campus- If Internshala plans to conduct one.<\/li>\n<li>CampusIntern will have an opportunity to interview and recommend his\/her successor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Who can apply: &#8211; <\/b>CampusIntern program is open to students from 7 IITs (Madras, Bombay, Kharagpur, Kanpur, Delhi, Guwahati, Roorkee) for now. We hope to gradually role out this program to 150 campuses over next 18 months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Before we get to who can apply; it\u2019s important to share who can NOT apply.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you care for a fancy designation, if your dream job is <em>Strategy<\/em> or <em>Consulting<\/em>, if you think you have earned your place in history just basis your ability to cram a night before India\u2019s most competitive exam than any actual achievement or if you think any task is beneath your academic qualification \u2013 Internshala is NOT the place where you would find happiness.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With that out of the way, here is who\u00a0<em>can <\/em>apply<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>You, if you are an avid reader with impeccable written and verbal communication skills (ideal if you have a blog to show for it)<\/li>\n<li>You, if you have a flair for creativity and have designed stuff before (knowledge of any design making software, including Adobe Photoshop, would be advantage)<\/li>\n<li>You, if you respect dignity of work. Someone who has risen through ranks (Volunteer -&gt; Coordinator -&gt; Core\/Secretary) in college cultural\/technical fest will have an advantage<\/li>\n<li>If you have managerial and leadership skills. (If you have coordinated events before in college\/school)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Location: \u2013\u00a0<\/strong> Work from campus<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Duration<\/strong>: \u2013 Minimum 6 months (extendable upto one year)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Start Date: \u2013 <\/strong>January 25<sup>th<\/sup>, 2013.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Stipend<\/strong>: \u2013 An honorarium of Rs. 1,000\/- per event you organize+ gifts and goodies worth Rs. 3,000\/- from Internshala+ <strong>A paid summer internship offer<\/strong> with Internshala at Gurgaon for those who do well.
