About Carborundum Universal: – <\/strong>CUMI (www.cumi-murugappa.com) was founded in 1954 as a tripartite collaboration between the Murugappa Group, The Carborundum Co, USA and the Universal Grinding Wheel Co. Ltd., U.K. CUMI is one of the five manufacturers in the world with fully integrated operations that include mining, fusioning, wind and hydro power stations, manufacturing, marketing and distribution.<\/p>\n

About Internship: –\u00a0<\/strong>Selected candidates will be working with the furniture design team of the company. Specific competencies needed are : industrial design, furniture\/interior design or architecture skills. Also, knowledge of AutoCAD, Solid works, Photoshop , CorelDRAW is required.<\/p>\n

Number of Internships: – <\/strong>2<\/p>\n

Who can apply: – <\/strong> Students of any design course – particularly from Industrial Design \/ Furniture Design \/ Architecture background, are eligible to apply.<\/p>\n

Location: – <\/strong>Chennai, Bangalore.<\/p>\n

Duration: – <\/strong>1 month<\/p>\n

Start Date: – <\/strong>February, 2013<\/p>\n

Stipend: – <\/strong>Rs. 3,000\/- per month
