\"\"<\/a>India produces ~1000, 000 engineering graduates every year and most of these graduates are required to do a final year project (especially in case of M.Tech \/ M.E students). How many of these 1Mn projects are bought<\/em>, copied<\/em> and produced in the nearest Xerox shop, is anyone\u2019s guess. Even if 1% of these projects could lead to innovation and a meaningful outcome, the day would not be far ahead when we\u2019d hear of facebook and google like ventures taking shapes in dorms of Indian universities. This internship with Vinfinet is a golden opportunity for final year M.Tech students to get hand on experience of working in Industry while learning on the job \u2013 after all final year projects could be fun too! About Internship: –<\/strong> Hardware engineers<\/strong> would work on embedded and Power Electronics hardware design with micro-controllers, sensors, networking interfaces, various integrated circuits, power supplies, PCB designing, electronic product development (schematics, PCB layout, assembly, and testing). Software Engineers<\/strong> would work on embedded firmware and software development using C, Linux, Board Support Packages, Networking stacks and algorithms, Debugging, testing, etc.<\/p>\n

Who can apply: –<\/strong> Final year B.Tech\/B.E. students, 2nd<\/sup> year M.Tech students in Computer Science, Electronics and Communications or Electrical Engineering with good knowledge in embedded systems design and programming or strong motivation to create unique products for Indian agriculture sector. Should have hands on experience in designing basic electronics circuits and prior knowledge in embedded systems and\/or power electronics.<\/p>\n

Location: –<\/strong> Vinfinet Technologies office in Bangalore, India<\/p>\n

Duration: –<\/strong> A minimum of 3 months<\/p>\n

Start date: –<\/strong> As soon as possible (depending on college schedule)<\/p>\n

Stipend & Perks<\/strong>: –<\/strong> INR 3,000 \u2013 5,000 (depending on profile). A certificate of internship would be issued to all the interns and letter of recommendation is also available to those who do well in the internship<\/p>\n
