About ARCI:-\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) is an autonomous R&D Centre of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.\u00a0Translating Research to Technology has been ARCI’s motto and the Centre has set for itself the task of striving to bridge the gap between conventional research institutes & laboratories and the high-technology industries.<\/p>\n

About the internship: – \u00a0<\/strong>Training is given on some of the selected research areas relevant to ARCI\u2019s ongoing R&D programmes.\u00a0 Each individual student is assigned to a scientist.\u00a0 Under the guidance of the scientist, each student is expected to carry out an independent mini project.\u00a0 Students are allotted projects depending on ARCI\u2019s requirement and availability of the projects in areas of relevance to ARCI. \u00a0At the end of the programme, students are requested to submit a report detailing the research work carried out.<\/p>\n

Number of internships available: –<\/b> 60<\/p>\n

Who can apply: –<\/strong> Students who have completed their first year of M.Tech.\/M.E.\/M.Sc. \u00a0or 2nd<\/sup>\/3rd <\/sup>year of B.Tech.\/B.E. or equivalent are eligible to apply.<\/p>\n

Location: – <\/strong>Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh<\/p>\n

Duration: –<\/strong> 45-60 days during May – June 2013<\/p>\n

Stipend: –\u00a0<\/strong>This is an unpaid internship. A certificate of participation will be provided on successful completion and submission of report.<\/p>\n
