About Internship: –<\/strong>\u00a0The candidate will get exposed to all the key aspects of a construction project right from structural design to project management. The specific projects that interns would get to work on include: –<\/p>\n

  1. Structural design of G+14 Boy\u2019s Hostel Block for IIITDM<\/li>\n
  2. Structural design of G+6 Lecture Hall Block for IIITDM<\/li>\n
  3. Plumbing Design for IIT Madras Hostel Buildings ( 2 G+6 storeyed buildings and 1 G+7 Storeyed building)<\/li>\n
  4. Construction Management for Construction of High end Residential Apartments ( 54 nos.) at Mahindra City<\/li>\n
  5. Construction Management for Construction of Bridge with regulator across Malatar River<\/li>\n
  6. Project Management for Development of Integrated Township at Mogappair. ( Expected by June\u201912)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    # of internships available: – <\/strong>2-4<\/p>\n

    Who can apply: –<\/strong> The students must have completed 3 years (6 semesters) of their Civil Engineering degree at the time of joining. Students should have completed their courses on Structural analysis, RC structural design, CAD drafting to work in field of Structural Design ( Preferred ). In addition students should also have completed their course in Construction Management, and Estimation & Costing to work in the field of Construction Management. ( Preferred )<\/p>\n

    Location: –<\/strong>\u00a0EPMCR office, IIT-M Research Park, Chennai (India)<\/p>\n

    Duration: –<\/strong> flexible as per academic schedule<\/p>\n

    Start date: –<\/strong>\u00a0ASAP<\/p>\n

    Stipend<\/strong>: –<\/strong> This is an unpaid internship.<\/p>\n
