About Swasth India: –<\/b>\u00a0Swasth India Services(www.swasthindia.in), with a ‘Health for all’ motto, is a 5 year old social enterprise, addressing inequity in health by delivering affordable and quality, primary preventive-promoting healthcare services to India’s urban poor through a network of accessible, self-sustaining Health Centers, supported by a Community Outreach and a School Health Program. Its model has been developed based on 3 years of pilots through health projects touching ~120,000 lives across urban and rural India and in the next 2-3 years, it aims to serve 1 million lives in Mumbai by expanding its network from 10 to 60 Centers.<\/div>\n

1. Marketing, Communications & PR internship: – <\/strong>You will be working closely with Swasth India\u2019s management team to develop and implement a strategy for communication, external relations, fund-raising and media efforts to engage a range of stakeholders in Swasth India\u2019s work.<\/p>\nMore details on Marketing, Communications & PR internship<\/span>

Specific responsibilities include: –<\/em><\/p>\n

1. Lead efforts to build Swasth India brand across relevant online and social media spaces, and the website<\/p>\n

2. Implement marketing, advertising, PR and media initiatives<\/p>\n

3. Supporting fund-raising efforts through creation of supporting materials<\/p>\n

4. Creatively design internal and external communication collaterals<\/p>\n

5. Ideate and design digital and social media campaigns<\/p>\n

6. Documentation, photography and videography of our impact on the ground<\/p>\n

1. Any student with\u00a0 relevant work experience and\/or professional education in either of the following: – Marketing and communications\/PR or Graphic Designing, Art or Applied Art<\/p>\n

2. Candidate should be Mumbai based (preferably)<\/p>\n

3. Comfort with Hindi & English (oral and written)<\/p>\n

1. Strong oral & written communication skills<\/p>\n

Graphic Designing & Video Editing internship: – <\/strong>You will be\u00a0creating a portfolio of high-quality Videos\/Visual collateral (Posters, Flipcharts, PPTs) for use with different stakeholders \u2013 Donors, Health Workers, Clinic Nurses & Receptionists, Principals of our Partner School, Community leaders and slum dwellers.<\/p>\nMore details on Graphic Designing & Video Editing internship<\/span>

Specific responsibilities include: –<\/em><\/p>\n

1. Understand needs \u2013 audience, purpose, budget (days of effort) \u2013 to create vision & script\/outline<\/p>\n

2. In case of Videos – Direct and shoot videos (includes travel on the field to meet and brief or interview people) and add audio commentaries \/ voiceovers, edit and create final videos<\/p>\n

3. In case of Visual collateral (Posters, Flipcharts, PPTs) – Design high quality collateral<\/p>\n

1. Solid experience in video shooting, editing, voiceover<\/p>\n

2. Candidate should be Mumbai based (preferably)<\/p>\n

1. Creativity, ability to think outside the box<\/p>\n

2. Ability to understand the needs of the audience<\/p>\n

3. Strong planning ability (to conceptualize video, estimate time & resources needed, detail out script etc)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

3. Medical & Health Education internship: – <\/strong>You will be\u00a0creating high-quality medical training material and delivering it through Swasth India’s 2 programs \u2013 Staff Professional Development (Clinic receptionists, Nurses and Health Workers) and Community Education.<\/p>\nMore details on Medical & Health Education internship<\/span>

Specific responsibilities include: –<\/em><\/p>\n

1. Research content, i.e. Protocols for key training topics such as Staff training – E.g. Sterilization of equipment, Venous Blood Collection, Dressing and Community Education –\u00a0 E.g. Hypertension, Diabetes, Women & Child Health<\/p>\n

2. Creating simplified disease information material for reference by trainers<\/p>\n

3. Designing and creating simple, visually attractive and effective health education material on topics. E.g. posters, flipcharts, presentations, videos etc)<\/p>\n

4. Training staff on above topics<\/p>\n

Who can apply: –<\/strong> The candidate should have<\/p>\n

1. Professional Medical Degree (ideally MBBS)<\/p>\n

2. Candidate should be Mumbai based (preferably)<\/p>\n

3. Comfort with Hindi & English (oral and written)<\/p>\n

Additionally,<\/strong> the role needs the following skills:<\/p>\n

1. Comfort with MS Office tools (Powerpoint, Word)<\/p>\n

2. Strong written communication skills (to document protocols, create training material)<\/p>\n

3. Strong oral communication skills (to deliver trainings)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
