About Swasth India: –<\/b>\u00a0Swasth India Services(www.swasthindia.in), with a ‘Health for all’ motto, is a 5 year old social enterprise, addressing inequity in health by delivering affordable and quality, primary preventive-promoting healthcare services to India’s urban poor through a network of accessible, self-sustaining Health Centers, supported by a Community Outreach and a School Health Program. Its model has been developed based on 3 years of pilots through health projects touching ~120,000 lives across urban and rural India and in the next 2-3 years, it aims to serve 1 million lives in Mumbai by expanding its network from 10 to 60 Centers.<\/div>\n

About the internship: –<\/b>\u00a0 The selected intern will be creating and implementing key HR processes to provide a solid foundation for Swasth India’s expansion efforts over the next 2-3 years. You will get to work across HR functions \u2013 recruitment & selection, employee engagement, policies\/processes, and with a variety of staff profiles \u2013 Health Workers, Clinic Nurses, Receptionists, Doctors, Central Support Staff and Management team.<\/p>\n

Specific responsibilities include: –<\/em><\/p>\n

1. Recruitment<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Explore different channels and create\/formalize partnerships with a range of institutions (engineering, medical, social work, communication, MBA) to create a steady pipeline for talent.<\/li>\n
  2. Support recruitment of field staff for expansion efforts.<\/li>\n
  3. Create and manage a solid internship\/volunteering program.<\/li>\n
  4. Design, pilot and refine system to receive, organize and store CVs for large-scale recruitment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    2. HR policies (e.g. Discipline, Leave, Induction, Grievance redressal)<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Create and\/or refine key HR Policies.<\/li>\n
    2. Ensure dissemination, understanding and internalization by staff.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      3. Employee engagement-<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Plan activities, calendar, responsibilities and budget for employee engagement initiatives.<\/li>\n
      2. Implement employee engagement initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Any student with experience and\/or education in HR.<\/p>\n

        2. Candidate should be Mumbai based (preferably).<\/p>\n

        3. Comfort with Hindi & English (oral and written).<\/p>\n

        Additionally,<\/strong>\u00a0the role needs the following skills:<\/p>\n

        1. Excellent oral & written communication, and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n

        2. Comfort with MS Office tools (Powerpoint, Word).<\/p>\n

        3. Entrepreneurial energy.<\/p>\n

        4. Ability to work independently.<\/p>\n
