About Consumers India: – <\/strong>Consumers India is a\u00a0 non-profit\u00a0 organization set up by\u00a0 former\u00a0 officers of\u00a0 Department of Consumer Affairs and other senior officers of Government of India, with a view to use their knowledge and experience for the benefit of consumers. Consumers India has taken up several important campaigns with a view to safeguard interests of large number of consumers.<\/p>\n

About the intenship<\/strong>: – It’s a 1 month long internship programme. During this internship, interns will be involved with concerns and activities \u00a0of Consumers India relating to \u2018misleading advertisements\u2019, \u2018access to affordable drugs\u2019,\u00a0\u00a0\u2018unethical medical practices\u2019, \u2018ageing with dignity\u2019, \u2018mediation for dispute resolution without mediation\u2019 \u2018consumer audit of consumer facilities\u2019, \u2018junk the junk food\u2019 ‘safe disposal of e-waste’ etc.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Who can apply:- <\/strong>Anyone who is interested can apply.<\/p>\n

Duration : – <\/strong>1 month<\/p>\n

Location: – <\/strong>Work from home (after 3 days induction in New Delhi) \u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Start date : –<\/strong> 24th\/25th October, 2013<\/p>\n

Stipend: – <\/strong>To and fro (AC 2 tier ) train\/bus fare + 3 nights (23rd, 24th, and 25th October ) accommodation in Delhi on request. The last date to apply is 3rd October, 2013- hurry!<\/strong><\/p>\n
