About Internshala: –\u00a0<\/strong> <\/strong>Internshala is an internship portal by a team of IIT alumni to help students all over India with their quest for a meaningful<\/em> internship. We believe one day we would change the ad-hoc culture of internships in India and we have hundreds of students telling us everyday how Internshala is making a difference to their lives. Armed with their support and love, we remain excited about the future and what we have set out to achieve.<\/p>\n

About Internship: –<\/strong> Its an editorial role, arguably the most coveted internship at Internshala and hence the most demanding one too. Think of it as running a student magazine in college, the only difference being that it is read by 1.5lac+ students all over India every month.<\/p>\n

You will own the responsibility for every section on the portal (except publishing internships); be it writing articles yourself, conducting interviews with top notch corporate professionals and academicians,\u00a0 student surveys, contests, internal communications, relationship with Media, engaging with readers, publishing newsletters – everything that you think an Editor of a national news paper may get to do.<\/p>\n

Who can apply: –<\/strong> Any one with the following 4 qualities –<\/p>\n

1. Conviction in the idea<\/strong> – you believe in and feel excited about what Internshala is doing because at some point or other you have felt the pain of finding an internship yourself too or have seen your friends\/siblings go through the pain<\/p>\n

2. Love for writing<\/strong> – you should be obsessed with the power of words and the world of books and have demonstrable prior experience in form of articles\/blogs etc. You truly believe in pen being mightier than sword<\/em> and hope to bring your own crazy ideas to life through writing. You cringe every time you see a sentence with “u” in it instead of “you” and improper punctuations!!!! (Did you cringe just now?)<\/p>\n

3. Street smart multi-tasker<\/strong> – You know an editor’s life is full of misery juggling between hundreds of things that need to go right before a product (in this case Internshala itself) comes to life. Be it writing, chasing people to write, conducting surveys, managing relationships with external stakeholders, responding to readers’ letters – and doing all of it without ever<\/strong> compromising the standard of writing or the principles that Internshala stands for.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. Hard worker<\/strong> – This internship would require you to eat, sleep, drink, dream, and live Internshala. Not too sure about the ‘sleep’ part though as you may not get much of it anyway! :)<\/p>\n

Location: –<\/strong> Though we’d like the intern to work out of our Gurgaon office but willing to consider work from home option for a deserving candidate.<\/p>\n

Duration: –<\/strong> Minimum 2 months. May convert to a full time position depending on performance and interest.<\/p>\n

Start date: –<\/strong> Looking for someone who can start right away even if part time for now and full time in summers.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>What we offer: – <\/strong>The fun culture at Internshala will one day be talk of folk lore (read team diary<\/strong><\/a> section to see for yourself) and we are proud of the experience, the learning, and the mentoring we provide to our interns.\u00a0 In addition we offer a stipend of Rs. 5,000\/- month which can go upto Rs. 8,000\/- per month for a full time internship.<\/p>\n
