Get-in requirements:<\/strong> Technically students going for internships need to apply for student Visa (J1). \u00a0To obtain a visa, face-to-face interviews at the nearest US embassy or consulate are\u00a0required. Students Visa doesn\u2019t come under Visa Waiver Program as it covers tourism or\u00a0business purposes only. The visa application fee is a non-refundable $160 for visas that are not issued on\u00a0the basis of a petition and $190 for those that are. 1. In USA, almost all the transactions are done by card payment. Literally nobody carries cash in the country.
\n2. Use as many slangs as you know: Americans are obsessed with superlatives. They love using slangs like omg<\/em>, AWESOME<\/em>, and a lot more which you may have seen in any American t.v. series.
\n3. Don\u2019t use the word \u201cwhite\u201d : People in the States are socially conservative and\u00a0very sensitive about racial and religious topics.
\n4. Traveling in the USA can be expensive and the public transport in the country is not up to the mark. You will see\u00a0cars cars cars everywhere on the roads with the footpaths being almost\u00a0vacant. People use their own cars to go anywhere, be it a shop in the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Note:\u00a0Security at U.S. airports is known to be onerous, especially during busy holiday travel periods. Allow plenty of time and pack as lightly as possible.<\/p>\n
