About JNCASR: – <\/strong>Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR, www.jncasr.ac.in<\/a>) is a multidisciplinary research institute mandated to pursue and promote world-class research and training at the frontiers of Science and Engineering covering broad areas ranging from Materials to Genetics. It provides a vibrant academic ambience hosting more than 200 Researchers. The Centre is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and is a deemed university.<\/p>\n

About Internship: – <\/strong>The students selected under this programme are placed with scientists at the Centre or elsewhere in India. The research areas include Life Sciences, Material Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering Sciences, and Atmosphere Sciences. # of Internships: – <\/strong>Approximately 80 fellowships would be offered of which 15 students would be selected as Rajiv Gandhi Science Talent Research Fellows<\/strong> based on the completed project reports.<\/p>\n

Who can apply: –<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Students who have secured not less than 80% in Maths and Science subjects in their 10th and 12th or equivalent examinations and not less than first class in graduation and post graduation ( if applicable).<\/p>\n

Students presently studying in I & II year of B.Sc., II, III & IV year of B.S., I, II & III year of B.E\/ B.Tech., I year of M.Sc and\u00a0 I – IV\u00a0 year of Integrated M.Sc. can apply for Life Sciences and Mathematics.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Students presently studying in II & III year of B.Sc., II, III & IV year B.S., II, III & IV year of B.E\/ B.Tech., I year of\u00a0 M.Sc and\u00a0 II – IV\u00a0 year of Integrated M.Sc. can apply for Materials Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering Sciences and Atmospheric Sciences.<\/strong><\/p>\n
