Also, always schedule the interview and notify the candidate beforehand through a mail asking them to confirm the\u00a0specific date, time and\/or place. This gives the candidate enough time to research about the company and prep for the interview.<\/p>\n

Upon hiring<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

1. Always change the application status to ‘Hired’:\u00a0<\/strong>It kicks off an automated process intimating the student’s college authorities and requesting them to issue an online\u00a0No Objection Certificate<\/a>. This step ensures greater accountability on part of the candidate.<\/p>\n

Also, keep a few candidates as back up. If the chosen intern doesn’t accept the offer, you could extend it to the next best candidate.<\/p>\n
