\"InternshipUmang is a B-Tech student at ABES Engineering College. He got an opportunity to intern at IIRS ISRO Dehradun. Apart from learning and working , he met brilliant minds from all over India and made his one month long internship a memorable experience.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

It was second Saturday of June. It was last day of second year of my college. I went back home and called IIRS in evening to confirm my internship , they said I should report on \u00a0Monday. I was tensed but also very happy that I got selected as an intern at IIRS ISRO. I have never been to any company for job or internship in my life, so I was unaware regarding the staff and work environment. I\u00a0didn’t unpack my luggage which I took home from college. Next morning I reached Dehradun. It was my first\u00a0day in any company. As soon as I entered in the office, I saw models of PSLV and satellite. I felt as if I am walking on the moon. It indeed was a great moment. After lunch I met my guide. He took my short interview and questioned about C- programming. He also advised me to go to library and learn about python and phenology. Soon he gave me a project based on that. For the first time in my life I did a coding project. Meanwhile I learnt a lot\u00a0about python , programming and industrial decorum.\u00a0I have innumerable memories of Dehradun. Weather of Dehradun is like heaven on earth. I stayed there for 4 weeks and each day it rained heavily. I could clearly notice hills of Mussoorie from my balcony . It was a great feeling to work in Satellite Center among \u00a0the best scientists of India. My all friends were from different parts of country. There I met people from across the length and breadth and it was a wonderful experience. We all had memorable moments. My guide guided me as a son and never made me feel inferior. Honestly it was amazing working there. I wish I could live for few more days there.<\/p>\n
