About us

Swachhalay is a non-profit organization, mentored by the United Nations and the Prime Minister's Office, that works across Indian cities to eradicate extreme poverty and ensure urban sanitation. Currently focusing on Mumbai and Pali and starting operations soon in Raipur and Bengaluru, Swachhalay involves itself in the strife to find sustainable and citizen-oriented solutions to a range of issues in the realm of sustainability, particularly sanitation & waste management. We do this by engaging the youth and activating them as agents of social change. Our vision is to make sanitation accessible and participative. Mission: Swachhalay is dedicated to spearheading a transformative shift towards sustainable circular economies in every district of India. By harnessing the power of innovation, community participation, and circular resource management, we aim to eliminate waste, improve sanitation, and create a thriving ecosystem that fosters social, economic, and environmental well-being.
