The competition invites students in Grades 10\u201312 to form teams and develop innovative science, technology, engineering and mathematics-based solutions to real-world problems connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Eligibilty:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participants must be students in Grades 10\u201312.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students must be 15\u201317 years old.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Every team must consist of three students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All three team members must belong to the same school and branch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students within a team may be from different eligible grades.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligible school boards include:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CBSE<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CISCE\/ISC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cambridge Assessment International Education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each team must have a teacher or school-appointed chaperone for safeguarding and supervision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous STEMathon participants may compete again if they continue to satisfy the eligibility criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Returning participants must submit a new project and cannot reuse the same or a substantially similar project addressing the same SDG.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background is-style-default\" style=\"background-color:#f0f0f0;color:#f0f0f0\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udfc6 <strong>Benefits for the Participants<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Winning Team: Opportunity to represent India and compete at Imperial College London&#8217;s Global Natural Science and Innovation Competition in London.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EduQuest&#8217;s announcement for the third edition states that the winning team will receive a \u00a3800 travel award toward visiting Imperial&#8217;s London campus and competing internationally.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participants should note that Imperial&#8217;s terms specify that any airfare, accommodation, travel or subsistence costs exceeding the prize amount are the responsibility of the students and teacher\/chaperone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First, second and third-place prizes will be awarded at the Mumbai finale.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All eligible teams that submit a Round 1 project will receive a digital Certificate of Participation from Imperial College London.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\ud83d\udcccAbout the Event STEM innovation competition for school students organised by Imperial College London in collaboration with EduQuest by Silver Fern.
