About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage all content creation, revision, and retention across multiple platforms
2. Work with the media team to identify stories needing updating and revisions as well as formulating a workable content roadmap
3. Organize the editorial calendar with the editorial director as well as manage incoming stories from writers into an easy-to-manage format
4. Edit and revise the content
5. Work on tasks regarding content as well as editorial strategy
6. Help build a team of writers, freelancers, and other contributors and manage assignments
7. Identify keywords for expansion on the site
8. Brainstorm with editorial team members to develop new ideas for content
9. Provide editorial support where needed

Other requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

An appreciation for quality content and the ability to create it

Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets when needed

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, or a related field

New media editorial experience or a similar role

Adept at SEO best practices and keyword selection

Proficiency with multiple content management systems and analytics software

Knowledge of the specific industry is a plus

Salary

Annual CTC: ₹ 4,00,000 - 5,00,000 /year

Annual CTC breakup:

1. Fixed component: 80%

2. Variable component: 20%
