About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Research and solve order issues presented by customers
2. Learn and study the intricacies of the company's products and offerings
3. Provide product recommendations for specific customer needs while maximizing revenue opportunities
4. Place phone orders in the e-commerce back end
5. Generate return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) and prepaid return labels
6. Process returns to expedite customer refunds
7. Send reports, status updates, and other data to internal and external partners
8. Monitor and maintain e-commerce channels for accurate inventory, pricing, and status
9. Communicate with internal departments (i.e. customer service, warehouse, management) to receive key information needed for a great customer experience
10. Update and expand product content including but not limited to specs, benefits, and features
11. Identify and assist in fixing product, channel, or process issues by working with the manager or appropriate departments
12. Assist the management with reviewing and resolving any customer complaints in a timely manner
13. Provide general clerical support to the company departments

Must preferably be from an e-commerce background

Must have a laptop

Must preferably be from Chennai

Must be capable to communicate any issues, problems, challenges, and complaints to the appropriate manager

Must be detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and deadline-driven environment while being courteous and friendly to all

Must have the ability to work with people of various backgrounds, personality traits, and levels of authority to accomplish department and company goals

Must have a pleasant, out-going, & a self-motivated personality

Should be able to demonstrate the capability to interact with customers politely and professionally

Should be able to manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls and emails in a timely manner

Must have strong verbal, and written communication skills along with active listening skills

Should be able to focus on the customer whilst adapting to different personality types

Freshers and engineering students would be preferred

Salary

Annual CTC: ₹ 4,00,000 - 5,00,000 /year

Annual CTC breakup:

1. Fixed component: 80%

2. Variable component: 20%

Note: We are a forward-thinking, fast-paced company looking to hire a customer service associate for our rapidly growing direct-to-consumer e-commerce operations. This position requires strong customer service skills, great written and oral communication skills, excellent research prowess, and the ability to quickly learn the advanced technical concepts of our industry. We are looking for serious applicants only who can start immediately and can commute to our office location from Monday to Saturday.
