Key responsibilities:

1. Develop a stand-alone Windows application
2. Focus on the development of the software life cycle
3. Fix bugs and improve application performance
4. Design and build advanced applications for the Windows platform
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
6. Coordinate efforts with other developers and plan a high-level architecture for solutions, code software to track and resolve software defects
7. Understand client requirements and how they translate to new application features
8. Collaborate with the development team and other IT staff to set specifications for new applications
9. Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
10. Perform unit and integration testing before launch
11. Conduct functional and non-functional testing
12. Troubleshoot and debug applications
13. Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update, and add new features
14. Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code
