Mapup is looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, willing to work without supervision, are coachable, and willing to learn on the job. While you will be working with mapping data, it is not mandatory to have a working knowledge of GIS. However, you are expected to learn on the job to bridge the gap.
Selected candidate's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Using GIS knowledge to gather and update mapping data
2. Working with OSM data model and data
3. Working with large datasets
4. Developing automated tools while setting up and improving the data pipeline
5. Conducting web research
6. Working with mapping services such as Google Maps, HERE maps, OSM, TomTom, etc.
Basic knowledge of VBA or another programming language (preferred if you have completed https://www.coursera.org/specializations/excel-vba-creative-problem-solving)
Passion for research, analysis, and getting the details right
Good planning, organizational, analytical, decision making, and communication skills along with good business acumen
Annual CTC: ₹ 5,20,000 - 10,40,000 /year
Annual CTC breakup:
1. Fixed component: 85%
2. Variable component: 15%
