Key responsibilities:

1. Work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods
2. Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure
3. Develop a flexible and well-structured back-end architecture, along with the APIs to support it
4. Build, test and maintain Node.js based services
5. Use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem

Thorough understanding of Node.js and its core principles

Thorough understanding of MongoDB

Experience with REST API's (past experience with GraphQL is a plus)

Experience with Git

Familiarity with the whole web stack including protocols and web server optimization techniques

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude with attention to details
