Restaurant Manager Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Oversee the dining area & supervise the food and beverage service staff by operating policies
2. Maintain records of staff and operating costs in a periodic manner
3. Provide coaching to the team regularly and set high standards for appropriate team behavior
4. Work with the food and beverage staff to ensure proper food presentation and proper food-handling procedures
5. Schedule periodic food and beverage service staff meetings to ensure correct interpretation of policies
6. Handle guest complaints and irate customers with a friendly/calm attitude
7. Seek, listen and respond to guest feedback
8. Ensures product quality and great service
9. Manage the total receipts and balance against sales, deposit receipts and lock the facility at end of the day
10. Work on dealing with changes/problems (e.g., being short staffed)
11. Effectively forecast restaurant needs
12. Provide detailed updates and reports to the CEO/owner
13. Take accountability and ownership for problems
14. Effectively identify restaurant problems through reports and ideate & execute to resolve the same
15. Monitor inventory & expenses and perform other record keeping tasks
