Supply Chain Executive Fresher Job

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manage the operational activities of a variety of functional departments or distribution centers
2. Review and analyze reports, records, and directives and confer with managers/supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, the status of work in progress, and problems encountered
3. Work on activities related to the receiving, storing, and/or shipping of materials or finished goods
4. Work on ensuring materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, available to meet production schedules, packaged according to specification, and shipped in a timely manner
5. Ensure the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control
6. Evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices
7. Give work direction, resolve problems, and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work
8. Monitor and analyze costs and prepare budgets
9. Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and other service functions to maintain efficiency
