About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service
2. Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
3. Proactively monitor system performance and capacity planning
4. Manage, coordinate and implement OS-level software upgrades, patches, hotfixes on cloud servers, workstations, and network hardware
5. Set up the required services/servers in a Linux environment
6. Continuously improve server security with hardening routines
7. Develop routines in scripting languages such as BASH, Python, etc.
8. Work on application packaging and repository management for Linux operating system such as .deb, .armhf
