About RVCJ Digital Media Private Limited
RVCJ Media is India's leading website that provides viral content. On the 10th of October 2010, we set out on a journey. The Facebook page 'RVCJ Media' was born on that day. After growing success of our Facebook page, we decided to go one step ahead by launching India's leading website that provides viral content in all the categories.
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Provide administrative support to accountants undertaking clerical tasks such as typing, filing, making phone calls, handling mail, and basic bookkeeping
2. Work directly under the finance manager
3. Deal with customers and external agencies
4. Work with spreadsheets and sales & purchase ledgers/journals
5. Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
6. Calculate and check to make sure payments, amounts, and records are correct
7. Sort out the incoming and outgoing daily posts and answer any queries
8. Manage petty cash transactions
9. Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
10. Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners as needed

Who can apply

Other requirements

1. Must be a graduate (accounting and finance would be preferred)

2. Must have good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures

3. Must have advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)

4. Must have good organizational and time-management skills

5. Must have the ability to pay attention to details

6. Must have an ability to spot numerical errors

7. Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills

8. Must be a resident of Mumbai
