Accounts (Female) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
2. Documenting financial transactions by entering account information
3. Recommending financial actions by analyzing accounting options
4. Summarizing current financial status by collecting information
5. Preparing balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other reports
6. Substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents
7. Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies & procedures
8. Maintaining financial security by following internal control
9. Preparing payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
10. Answering accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy & regulations
11. Complying with the central government, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing & new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
12. Preparing special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information & trends
13. Maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping financial information confidential
14. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshop

1
