Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on the final accounting
2. Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports
3. Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
4. Work on documents and financial transactions by entering account information
5. Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
6. Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports
7. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
8. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
