Accounts Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports
2. Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
3. Document financial transactions by entering account information
4. Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
5. Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
6. Compile with central and state financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
7. Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
