Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 23rd Jan'20 and 22nd Feb'20
3. are available for duration of 4 months
4. are from or open to relocate to Pune and neighboring cities
5. have relevant skills and interests
MotherQuilts is building an economically sustainable and socially empowered community for traditional Indian artisans, specifically Indian hand-quilters. To mitigate the problems of unemployment in the rural Maharashtra, India. We have started this initiative for socially, economically and politically deprived and marginalized women with multiple burdens in terms of do's and don'ts on their heads regarding their rights and dignity.
Through this initiative, we are focused towards creating a working revenue model for the women who don't have any educational benefits, who are living in villages and who can't go out of their houses to pursue jobs because of their cultural and family obligations. In order to provide sustainable job opportunities and deliver the positive change MotherQuilts aims to provide better livelihood to the community.
