About the Internship:
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on a joint project developed by Prof. Amey Karkare, CSE, IIT Kanpur and GT Silicon
2. Algorithm development for positioning using WiFi and Bluetooth
3. Embedded systems
4. Data analysis
5. Lab and field testing

Additional Information:
This is an algorithm development internship for wearables and IoT for a joint project between IIT Kanpur and GT Silicon Private Limited. Our innovative foot-mounted sensor platforms are highly useful for a variety of indoor location based services (LBS) and IoT applications based on foot-mounted inertial sensing. Some of the examples are indoor tracking of fire-fighters/rescue agents, supply chain management in large warehouses, urban mapping & surveying, autonomous robotics, gait analysis for rehabilitation, technology for an assistive living, smart video capturing, etc.
