Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
3. Working with outside data sources and API's
4. Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
5. Working on bug fixing and improving application performance
6. Continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency
