Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include working on android app development and on the following requirements.
Requirements:
1. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
2. Strong knowledge of languages Java and Kotlin to work on Android Studio
3. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
4. Good Knowledge of Android application architecture (MVVM, MVP, MVPP, MVI), solid Principles, and architecture components
5. Having a working knowledge of design principles for the android application Dagger and Hilt, along with view models
6. Good knowledge of Fragment and Activity life cycle, Services, Android components
7. Ability to deal with JSON, and the creation of data models
8. Having good knowledge and working understanding of Live data, Flow, Datastore, network API call using AsyncTask, Retrofit2, work manager, AndroidX libraries, dependency injections
9. Good to have knowledge and usages of Jetpack compose components
10. Good knowledge of databases like SQLite database, and Room library used in Android applications
11. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
12. Should be familiar with Firebase FCM, Authentication
13. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
14. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
In a short span of about a year, we have grown to a team of 100 enterprising individuals. Our development center is based in Baner, Pune. Sciffer Analytics Private Limited is an IIT-IIM start-up in the analytics domain. Its three main verticals are optimization, predictive modeling, and business intelligence. Sciffer is currently working with some of the largest television channels in India and the USA.
A few of the products Sciffer is working on are optimizers and schedulers for television/digital content, promos and commercial ads, and predictive models for audience viewership measurement.
