We want interns for the Sumunum center - Chennai's first multi-arts, experiential, public engagement space dedicated to creative pursuits & arts-based practices. the center, at Panayur, on the east coast road, is nearing completion of civil work. we aim to launch in the first half of 2020.
Selected interns day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Creating design solutions that make the center an arts-driven space that enables diverse artistic expression
2. Sourcing energy efficient & eco-friendly material from vendors as per design
3. Supervising & managing schedules & resources (onsite & offsite) across vendors to ensure quality output & timeline-based delivery
4. Liaising with architect & design firms & handling all related work that enables creation & launch of the center
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for the part time job/internship
2. can start the part time job/internship between 21st Jan'20 and 20th Feb'20
3. are available for duration of 3 months
4. are from or open to relocate to Chennai and neighboring cities
5. have relevant skills and interests
