For residential, 24x7 interns that look upon this as a great multi-disciplinary learning experience, we provide free boarding, lodging, local transport, internet, basic recreation, etc. in lieu of the stated stipend. (this clearly costs us much more than the stated stipend); our accommodation is not air-conditioned and luxurious, but comfortable and functionally efficient with 24-hour internet, hot and cold water, washing machine, microwave, fridge; although bedrooms are gender-specific, other amenities are shared (nutritious vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is provided); exceptionally bright, local, interns who manage their own expenses can apply for non-residential internship; they are entitled to a token stipend of Rs.3000/month, or 2-wheeler fuel refund and free lunch; Sunday is a site-visit day.
